Kathmandu, Kartik 15. The collection of toll fees from vehicles using the Nagdhunga Tunnel has commenced today.
In accordance with a decision by the Road Board Nepal, the fees have been determined based on the vehicle category and the direction of travel. Cars, vans, and light vehicles are required to pay Rs 65 when entering Kathmandu and Rs 60 when exiting. Similarly, mini-buses and trucks must pay Rs 115 upon entry and Rs 80 upon exit, while buses and single-rear-axle trucks are subject to fees of Rs 260 and Rs 200, respectively.
For heavy and multi-axle vehicles, the toll fee has been set at Rs 600 for entry into Kathmandu and Rs 250 for exiting.
