Rule of Law and Ethical Conduct Are the Foundations of Good Governance: President Paudel

Kathmandu, Kartik 18: President Ramchandra Paudel has stated that the proper utilization of public resources, zero tolerance for corruption, the rule of law, and ethical conduct form the foundation of good governance. President Paudel expressed this view today while inaugurating the newly constructed administrative building of Dakshinkali Municipality. He expressed his confidence that all three tiers of government would remain committed to fulfilling the expectations held by the public. He urged elected representatives and civil servants to view their public positions and responsibilities not as personal privileges or entitlements, but as opportunities and obligations to serve the people. Furthermore, he expressed his hope that the services provided from this building would be prompt, efficient, transparent, accountable, and citizen-friendly. rss
