Jawalakhel in Rastriya Sabha MPs training

26 Vaisakh, Kathmandu. RASWA has started training for members of parliament. A training program on the subject of 'Capable Parliament, Empowered Parliament' is being organized today and tomorrow at the Staff College located in Jawalakhel, Lalitpur.


Parliamentarians have arrived in Jawalakhel to participate in the training. The formal inauguration of the training was done by Deputy Speaker and Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagley. RASWA has expressed hope that this training will be instrumental in making the parliament more effective on behalf of the people and developing the legal and policy skills of the parliamentarians. The first day of the training will focus on the interrelationship between the House and the Government and parliamentary procedures. Under this, there is a program for Chief Whip Bhupdev Shah to provide training on the coordination relationship between the party, government, and the House. Similarly, Parliamentary Party Leader Ganesh Parajuli will present his experiences and methods on the active role that parliamentarians have to play in parliamentary committees, and MP Nisha Dangol will present her experiences and methods on the role of the whip in parliamentary practice and party coordination. RASWA stated that the second day's session will focus on political behavior, diplomacy, and preparation for the upcoming election.


Whip Kranthi Shikha Dhital will provide training on political psychology, behavior, and high moral conduct, while Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal will provide information on the technical aspects of international diplomatic relations and state etiquette. Also, Deputy Chief Whip Vipin Kumar Acharya will present a working paper on the scientific framework for selecting candidates for the upcoming local election and the party's internal preparation. It has been scheduled that Party President Ravi Lamichhane will give special directional remarks at the closing session of the training program.
