Kathmandu- President Ramchandra Paudel has called a meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament.
According to a statement released by the President's Office, in accordance with Article 93, Sub-article (1) of the Constitution of Nepal, on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers on Tuesday, a meeting has been called at 2 pm on Monday, May 28, at the Federal Parliament Building, Singhadarbar. The statement issued by Ritesh Kumar Shaky, the spokesperson of the President's Office, mentions that the parliament meeting will be held on the specified date.
Earlier, the meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Tuesday had recommended calling the parliamentary session. The government has called the parliamentary session after issuing eight different ordinances.
